5 Free, Family-Friendly Activities in SouthPark
Activities for the whole family that won't break the bank.
1) Walk or Bike the Backlot Trail, which connects SouthPark from The Loop at Park South Drive to Park Road Park, Little Sugar Creek Greenway, X-CLT Trail, and Carolina Thread Trail. It's the perfect spot for a shady stroll or bike ride, and allow you to access other parts of the city from SouthPark.
2) Picnic at Symphony Park with a packed basket or with snacks from nearby Reid's Fine Foods.
3) Go on a run with the Legion Brewing Run Club, which meets every Wednesday at 6:15. The group is open to all paces and new faces, including children and four-legged friends.
4) Discover daily programming at SouthPark Regional Library, where you can find daily activities for all ages and interests, including story times, puzzle swaps, gamer meet ups, and lessons on the 3D printer.
5) Host a playdate at SouthPark Mall's West Plaza Play Area, where the adults can grab coffee, food, or drinks from Suffolk Punch while the little ones play at the playground.
