Giving Back in SouthPark
Joy for all.
Many of us are privileged to have the opportunity to gift thoughtfully and spend time with family and friends this holiday season, but that is not the case for all of our neighbors. There are several ways to give back to the community in SouthPark this holiday season, see them all:
Drop off unwrapped toys at Toys for Tots donation boxes at these SouthPark Spots:
- United Community Bank
- Custom Ink
- Capitol Towers North and Capitol Towers South (4350 Congress St.)
Sponsor holiday presents for a family or child:
- Available through the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program, find a representative at the SouthPark Mall Dining Pavilion
CMPD Christmas Explorers Program:
- Since 1974, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and the CMPD Explorers have partnered with the community to provide a Christmas for families in Charlotte. Drop off a new, unwrapped toy at any CMPD division office or Charlotte Fire Station, or donate via Venmo at @cmpdexplorersprogram.
Attend the Community Holiday Luncheon at Hyatt Centric
- Hyatt Centric SouthPark has partnered with The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Charlotte to offer small businesses a chance to show their appreciation, celebrate the festive season, and contribute to the local community without having to organize their own event. Learn more.
