"The Charlotte Drum Collective (CLT DRUM) launches this Fall to be the hub for all things drum set and percussion in the greater Charlotte, North Carolina area.
CLT DRUM provides a community atmosphere offering private online lessons, private in-person lessons, group lessons and masterclasses.
Al Sergel, the founder and lead instructor at CLT DRUM, is an active educator and performer with a 20-year track record of successful students. He currently teaches at Appalachian State University, Davidson College, Central Piedmont Community College and Queens University.
Having taught students of all ages and playing levels, many of Sergel’s current and former students have received scholarships for college and are professional touring drummers.
Sergel’s commitment to education includes a hand-picked staff of professional drummers who are committed to teaching. REAL pros teaching on REAL drums is the foundation of CLT DRUM.
