Tuesday is a festive tradition, celebrating the “last hurrah,” feasting before Lent. Making pancakes uses up rich ingredients like eggs, milk, and butter, It’s a fun way to celebrate the carnival spirit, eat indulgent breakfast-for-dinner, and prepare for the solemnity of Ash Wednesday and Lent.
