Melanie (Mel) Guinn Henderson never set out to write a memoir. In fact, she avoided it the way one avoids that suspicious French grocery store where everyone is naked (yes, that happened). By 29, she had worked in three countries and helped craft campaigns for Bvlgari, Gucci, and Dior. She has been mistaken as a travel visa violator, a corporate spy, and—occasionally—as someone who actually knows what she is doing.
After founding two other companies, she now consults through Guinn Holdings while managing a life that includes her husband, three children, two Australian Shepherds (who are convinced they’re employed), and a psychopathic, outside squirrel known only as “Frank.” Given the number of catastrophes she’s survived with humor intact, this memoir was inevitable.
