Date and Time

Location

Learn how to stay safe while you surf the web! This presentation will cover the ins and outs of how to protect your personal information online. We’ll cover tips for staying safe in cyberspace, like safe browsing, how to recognize online scams, and when it’s OK — or not — to share your personal information online.

Senior Planet is a nonprofit focused on enabling older adults to come together and find ways to learn, work, create, exercise, and thrive in today’s digital age. Charlotte Mecklenburg Library provides free technology classes using the Senior Planet curriculum, taught by Charlotte Mecklenburg Library staff and trained community volunteers. This program provides a welcoming learning environment for older adults to support each other as you develop new technology skills. To learn more about Senior Planet, visit seniorplanet.org.

This program will be offered in person and subtitles may be made available during the program when presentation slides are used.
