Apex SouthPark

The newest mixed-use development in SouthPark, Apex SouthPark is an innovative and distinctive area featuring Element SouthPark luxury apartments, the 175-room Hyatt Centric hotel, SouthPark Church, and ground-floor retail and restaurants. The development, which opened in 2020, is located across from SouthPark Mall. In addition to popular national brands like Snooze an A.M. Eatery and Steak 48, Apex is also home to home-grown businesses and services.

Morrison

Morrison is a mixed-use specialty shopping center located at the intersection of Sharon and Colony roads that originally opened in 2006. Anchored by Barnes & Noble, the main street-style center is also home to an array of local boutiques, restaurants, and experiences as well as SouthPark Morrison and Inspire apartment homes.

Morrocroft Village

Located across the street from SouthPark Mall and off of Carnegie Boulevard, Morrocroft Village opened in the early 1990s featuring national retailers and local shops. The shopping district is anchored by Harris Teeter (lovingly referred to by SouthPark locals as the “Taj Ma Teeter”) and ABC Spirits. These are accompanied by national tenants like Jos A. Bank Clothiers and Crate & Barrel, and locally owned Donald Haack Diamonds and Ageless Remedies.

Phillips Place

Phillips Place opened in 1997 as one of the first mixed-use villages in the city, featuring shops, restaurants, a hotel, and apartments in beautiful open-air streetscapes. National retail experiences seamlessly commingle with local restaurants and boutiques, and Phillips Place has a concentration of market exclusive brands like Ralph Lauren, Jenni Kayne, and Restoration Hardware showroom and restaurant.

Piedmont Town Center

Piedmont Town Center opened in 2006 as a mixed-use development with two office towers, 179 private condos, two parking decks, and ground-floor retail and restaurants, all radiating out from the feature plaza, water fountain, and roundabout. The community, with the main entrance on Fairview Road, was created as a dedicated destination to live, work, eat, and play in SouthPark.

Sharon Corners

Sharon Corners is a two-story shopping center featuring a diverse mix of merchants and restaurants. While Sharon Corners is located across from popular SouthPark Mall, the shopping center actually came first, being built about a decade before the mall in 1961. Previously named Sharon Shopping Center, the strip mall underwent renovations, upgrades, and additions in 1993 to accommodate the growth in the area. The conveniently located and welcoming shops are home to national retailers like HomeGoods and Men’s Wearhouse but are also anchored by locally owned franchises and small businesses that are creating special experiences and products for their customers.

Sharon Square

Sharon Square is a mixed-used development made up of a distinctive roster of restaurants, shops, offices and apartments, anchored by Whole Foods Market which opened in 2012, followed by Solis Sharon Square apartments. The inviting and walkable community is also home to several local specialty shops and culinary concepts.

SouthPark Mall

An anchor of the neighborhood, SouthPark Mall opened in 1970 with Belk, Sears, and Ivey’s as the main department stores. A fourth wing was added to the mall in 1988. In 2002, Simon Property Group acquired SouthPark Mall and began extensive updates and renovations. Symphony Park also opened next to SouthPark Mall the same year. Since the early 2000s, the mall has added many new brands and luxury stores to its offerings, establishing itself as a premier shopping center in the Southeast. The high-fashion shopping destination is now home to more than 150 stores, including several locally owned shops, eateries, and services.

Specialty Shops SouthPark

The Specialty Shops SouthPark has been providing sophisticated and refined shopping and dining experiences to the neighborhood since 1979. The beautifully landscaped outdoor shopping center brings a Palm Beach vibe to the heart of SouthPark. The shopping district was acquired by Hill Partners in 2014, who led a renovation in 2015 to enhance the shopping center while furthering the concept's original commitment to providing SouthPark with a unique specialty retail experience. Home to a mix of national retailers and privately owned boutiques and restaurants, the Specialty Shops is a special place to support local.

Terraces at SouthPark

Located next to Whole Foods, Terraces at SouthPark is a smaller shopping area in SouthPark situated near the intersection of Sharon and Fairview roads. The two-story strip mall was built in 1999 and is home to national brands like FedEx Office, Mattress Firm, Jimmy John’s, and Banfield Pet Hospital as well as a few local small businesses providing one-of-a-kind services.
