Symphony Park has the potential to become one of Charlotte's great community assets, a place where memories are made, communities convene and converse, and daily life buzzes with activity.
Through a public-private partnership led by SouthPark Community Partners (SCP) announced in April 2025, the private sector will commit $13 million to improvements, led by a significant investment from Simon Property Group to build two permanent anchor restaurants at the park’s edge.
SCP is requesting $8 million from the City of Charlotte, leveraging existing bond capacity dedicated for capital projects in the SouthPark area, including Symphony Park improvements.
SCP has launched a $5 million capital campaign to support this project and invites the community to help us bring a renewed Symphony Park to life.
Join the growing community of supporters to ensure Symphony Park evolves into an extraordinary place for all.
