Savor Summer Flavors in SouthPark

Bespoke dining experiences from top chefs.

Nothing says summer in the South like heirloom tomatoes, fresh corn, and meats on the grill. North Carolina is one of the nation's top agricultural producers, which means that SouthPark chefs have access to some of the best produce and proteins around. See where to taste the flavors of summer in SouthPark:

Legion Brewing, a supporter of the Piedmont Culinary Guild, recently updated their menu with seasonal items, including:

  • Grilled and chilled heirloom tomato salad with fresh burrata
  • Wood grilled chicken shawarma bowl
  • Pan seared halibut over corn and crab chowder
  • Lamb sliders with avocado slaw

Pair these items with a rotating list of seasonal cocktails made with house-infused liquors, or craft brews like the fruit forward Supernova or their classic Juicy Jay. Legion offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week and the space is complete with an outdoor lawn and patio, perfect for pups and kids alike.

Dilworth Tasting Room also recently released several new lunch and dinner options, including:

  • Flat iron Greek salad with crispy chickpeas
  • Salmon over squid ink orzo
  • Avocado BLT
  • Crispy skin branzino with Tuscan white beans

In addition to their extensive wine list and cocktail program, DTR SouthPark offers zero proof drinks that give you the fancy feeling of a cocktail without the liquor. Enjoy these items on the patio next to the fountain in the heart of Sharon Square, or step inside for cozy seating with lots of natural light.

Mano Bella Artisan Foods, known for their handmade pastas, is also hosting several seasonal foodie events, including:

The husband and wife ownership duo brings authentic Italian specialties to SouthPark, and is dedicated to fostering relationships with local food producers to showcase all that the region has to offer. After all, that's the true Italian way.

It wouldn't be summer without ice cream, and Golden Cow Creamery makes all of their dairy delights from scratch, without preservatives, dyes, and other artificial ingredients often found in freezer aisle items. Some of their rotating seasonal ice cream and sorbet flavors include:

  • Pineapple Habanero
  • Cheerwine (ask to make it a float!)
  • Blackberry Hibiscus
  • Honey Lavender

Located in the heart of Morrison Shops, plan the perfect summer outing by visiting the local fashion and home decor boutiques, art gallery, pocket park, and foodie finds that line the shopping center walkways.

Summit Coffee keeps SouthPark going, and summer break is no exception. Their seasonal menu items include:

  • Blue skies vanilla iced coffee with blueberry cold foam
  • Churro inspired brown sugar and caramel latte with vanilla cold foam
  • Dreamsicle orange and vanilla sparking soda with vanilla cold foam
  • Lucky and charmed marshmallow latte with blueberry cold foam and Lucky Charms marshmallows
  • Summer camp marshmallow and mocha latte with marshmallow cold foam and crushed graham crackers.

If you want to oder your usual, consider topping your drink off with blueberry, marshmallow, vanilla, coconut flavored cold foams for a little twist.
