Rob Buddo, LPM

Vice President, Programs & Operations

Rob serves as the Vice President of Programs & Operations for SouthPark Community Partners, focusing on initiatives that enhance the district's vibrancy, connectivity, and economic vitality.

Prior to joining SouthPark, he served on the economic development team at the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance, focusing on business recruitment. He has dedicated much of his career to the place management industry, having managed the Downtown Business Improvement District in Birmingham, Alabama, and later serving as President & CEO of Downtown Huntsville, Inc. Throughout his career, he has spearheaded strategies across retail and office recruitment, development consulting, and urban district revitalization.

A Charlotte native who grew up in SouthPark, Rob values the opportunity to shape his hometown's continued growth as a premier place to live and do business. Outside of work, he enjoys running, golfing, cooking, and spending time with his family. He is an avid supporter of the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Hornets, and Charlotte FC.

Rob holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama. He is a graduate of the International Downtown Association (IDA) Emerging Leaders Fellowship and holds the Leadership in Place Management (LIPM) designation.
