Casual American
After a year of research and testing Philly cheesesteaks, Rob Duckworth and team opened the first Duckworth’s in 2004. Since then, six locations have opened in the area (including SouthPark in late 2022) and the menu has evolved, including the addition of a robust draft beer program, but the six cheesesteak options on the menu are still go-to dishes.
Legion is all about good beer, good food, and good friends. The local brewery opened its original location in Plaza Midwood in 2015 before expanding to SouthPark in 2018 with a full-service restaurant featuring a lunch, dinner, and brunch menu.
Harper’s has been a staple in SouthPark for more than 35 years. Serving up classic American cuisine prepared over a wood fire, you can’t go wrong with any choice on the comfort-style menu.

Upscale American
Dilworth Tasting Room SouthPark
Upscale yet approachable, DTR SouthPark offers an extensive wine list, cocktails, small plates, and entrees in a stunning environment that’s just as unique as the namesake location. For a light and refreshing meal, order the DTR Salad with seared salmon with a glass of wine or the cosmo.
Art, locally sourced dishes, and service come together for a distinctive dining experience at this local restaurant led by executive chef and Culinary Institute of America grad Bill Greene and team.
See and be seen at this culinary oasis atop the 50,000-square-foot RH Charlotte design gallery. The all-seasons restaurant and wine bar features glass ceilings, chandeliers, an indoor fountain and greenery, as well as an outdoor garden patio. Menu favorites include the Lobster Roll and RH Burger.

Asian
This stylish Japanese eatery features an open-kitchen style dining room serving up fresh sushi, Robata cuisine cooked over specially sourced charcoal, Yakitori skewered meats and ingredients, and an extensive list of sake, beer, wine, and cocktails. The creative Japanese comfort foods are meant to be shared around the table.
Located on the rooftop of the Hyatt Centric Hotel in SouthPark, Mizu, which means “water” in Japanese, takes inspiration from natural elements and features a seafood-focused Japanese menu.
Known for its extensive sushi and sake list, Yama Asian Fusion has been a favorite spot for Asian cuisine in SouthPark since it opened in 2007. The menu also features hibachi dishes and other specialty selections like sea bass and grilled duck.

Fusion
Get a taste of Italy with strong influences from Spain and France at this European-inspired restaurant featuring locally sourced ingredients, an extensive wine list, and house-made charcuterie.
The sister concept of South End’s popular Seoul Food Meat Co., Bit is a fast-casual dining experience featuring Korean BBQ favorites like bao buns, tacos, and wings.
This unique concept featuring funky and fun dishes and decor, including fresh sushi, burgers, and fusion fare, got its start at the SouthPark location in 2010. Try the “burgushi'' and a spiked milkshake, and be sure to stop in the restrooms to hear some hilarious translations of Southern slang.

Italian
Located in Piedmont Town Center, Leo’s is a spot for coming together and enjoying made-from-scratch Italian favorites plus chef-driven pasta dishes and entrees.
The sister concept of longtime Italian favorite Mama Ricotta’s, Little Mama’s serves up classic, home-style Italian-American recipes inspired by the Italian restaurants of owner Frank Scibelli’s youth.
This Tuscan-themed restaurant from Italian restaurateur Augusto Conte has been a SouthPark favorite since 1998. The menu features Italian classics and seasonal ingredients, plus an extensive wine list.

Mediterranean/Greek
The Pahountis family opened the first location of Greco Fresh Grille in Charlotte in 2011, serving up authentic Greek and Mediterranean favorites in a fast-casual environment. It now has seven locations in the Charlotte area, including the SouthPark location, which opened in 2021.
Limani is an upscale culinary destination specializing in traditional Greek cuisine with a seafood focus. The location opened in SouthPark in late 2022.
Led by Israeli-born chef Shai Fargian, Yafo Kitchen is a local fast-casual Mediterranean street food concept known for its fresh flavors and build-your-own bowls.

Enjoy a contemporary take on classic Spanish delicacies as well as a robust beverage program at this tapas-style neighborhood restaurant.
Featuring old and new, modern and classic, Mal Pan serves up flavorful Mexican fare in an approachable environment. Try the tacos, which feature tortillas made from scratch in-house, and the seasonal margarita.
Paco’s Tacos has become a SouthPark institution since opening in 2010. The Tex-Mex eatery packs a punch when it comes to flavorful dishes, fun decor, and tequila offerings.

This beloved Southern concept originally opened in an old church in Charlotte’s Dilworth neighborhood more than 20 years ago before closing in late 2021. Bonterra began its second life in SouthPark in late 2022, bringing back new versions of old favorites like the fried lobster bites and its extensive wine menu featuring 200+ wines by the glass.
Regional Southern cuisine and locally sourced ingredients are the stars at this family-owned restaurant concept from Rare Roots Hospitality led by Jon and Kim Dressler.
Enjoy the flavors of the Gulf Coast in a relaxed, inviting environment at Southern Pecan. Featuring everything from oysters and pimento cheese to shrimp and grits and jambalaya, Southern Pecan serves up all the Southern classics and then some.

Steakhouse
Originally located on the 27th floor of the Charlotte Plaza building in Uptown, the reimagined Bentley’s in SouthPark opened in 2020 featuring the same beloved American-French cuisine, French tableside service and impressive wine list it became so well known for.
From the Charleston-based food group The Indigo Road, Oak Steakhouse is a modern take on the classic steakhouse concept with a focus on local North Carolina ingredients.
